Each May, CoSA raises awareness about the importance of protecting records of historical importance against all types of disasters that place our heritage in jeopardy. Our efforts include raising funds to provide much-needed supplies to government archives recovering from natural or manmade disasters.
In recent years, we have been able to purchase supplies for the Archives of Puerto Rico and the Friends of the Kentucky State Archives after devastating hurricanes, tornadoes, and floods ravaged facilities and damaged collections. As we face the accelerating frequency of severe natural disasters, our Disaster Recovery Fund is in critical need of replenishment.
Will you join our efforts? Consider making a contribution today to help build our fund so that when disaster strikes, CoSA may offer lifelines to recovery and support.
